After absorbing light energy, the dissolved oil releases fluorescence of a specific wavelength. The emission intensity is directly proportional to the dissolved oil content in water, achieving real-time and stable detection.

Installation and Wiring

Installation requirements:

  • The sensor should be installed vertically in the water body, with the front end at least 10cm away from the bottom of the pool or container.

  • Keep a distance greater than 2cm from the side wall to avoid wall reflection or attachment interference.

  • It is recommended to install in flowing or stirred water to ensure the measurement window fully contacts the water sample to be measured.

Electrical wiring (standard 4-core cable):

  • Red wire: Power positive (12~24VDC)

  • Black wire: Ground (GND)

  • Blue wire: RS-485 A

  • White wire: RS-485 B

After wiring, please carefully check to avoid short circuits or reverse connections. When the cable is immersed in water or exposed to the environment for a long time, all wiring points must be waterproofed and sealed, and corrosion-resistant cables should be used. Confirm the wiring is correct before powering on.

Maintenance Guide

To maintain measurement accuracy, it is recommended to regularly pay attention to the cleanliness of the measurement window. The outer surface can be rinsed with tap water. Stubborn dirt can be wiped with a soft cloth dipped in mild household detergent. Avoid excessive tension on the cable to prevent internal wire breakage.
