This soil NPK sensor does not directly chemically detect nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content. Instead, it measures soil electrical conductivity (EC) and then uses empirical models and coefficients to derive estimated values for nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
This measurement method is suitable for:

Before-and-after comparisons within the same plot
Evaluating changes before and after fertilization
However, due to significant differences in soil structure, organic matter content, and salinity across different regions, the results cannot be fully equated to laboratory chemical analysis values. For scientific research or precise quantitative needs, it is still recommended to combine with laboratory testing.
This pH sensor uses the electrode method for measurement:
After the probe is inserted into the soil
The zinc electrode reacts with hydrogen ions in the soil
Generating a potential difference proportional to the hydrogen ion concentration
From this, the soil pH (acidity and alkalinity) is calculated
It should be noted that this type of electrode-based soil pH sensor has certain accuracy limitations in complex soil environments and is suitable for rapid on-site judgment of pH trends.
If extremely high pH accuracy is required (such as for scientific research or standardized testing), glass electrode pH sensors are generally recommended.
