The soil temperature and humidity sensor is a high-precision, high-sensitivity soil moisture measuring instrument. The electromagnetic wave pulse emitted by the sensor is transmitted to the probe through the coaxial cable, and then enters the soil medium to measure the apparent dielectric constant of the soil, thereby obtaining the real water content of the soil. The influence of metal ions, etc. This instrument can be widely used in soil moisture monitoring, water-saving irrigation, greenhouses, grassland pastures, soil speed measurement and other fields.

The sensor adopts the FDR principle, and reflects the soil water content by measuring the dielectric constant of the soil. The measured soil value is the soil moisture volume percentage, which is the current standard soil moisture measurement method.

What effect does soil temperature have on plant growth? It affects soil plants, microorganisms and soil fertility. In addition, the solubility of gases, inorganic salts and other substances in the soil is affected by temperature, water and gas diffusion is affected by temperature, exchange ion activity is affected by temperature, microbial activity is affected by temperature, etc. These environmental changes will affect the growth of plant roots, inorganic salt plasma concentration is reduced, the plant will absorb less, microbial respiration can produce heat, but also decompose the mineral nutrients in the soil, the temperature is not suitable for root respiration is reduced, metabolism is weakened, growth is slow, which affects the above-ground growth, and then the root growth.

There are many factors that affect humidity, including soil moisture, vertical airflow, air temperature, etc. And the main factors of air humidity in the facility are related to soil evaporation, spray water replenishment and plant transpiration. In general, air humidity at 50% to 80% is the most suitable (eggplant and fruit vegetables suitable humidity is 50% to 60%; melon growth suitable humidity is 40% to 50%; cucumber is 70% to 80%; bean vegetables 50% to 70%). However, once the relative air humidity is less than 40% and the soil is dry, the plants are generally prone to water loss and wilting.

Air humidity has a huge impact on transpiration, photosynthesis and disease production of greenhouse crops, but it is not the case that the higher the humidity is the better for plants. In addition to water uptake, transpiration is also the driving force of mineral nutrient transport. When the air humidity is too high, transpiration is weak, the plant's ability to transport mineral nutrients is reduced, plant growth will be inhibited, resulting in lower plant growth rate, increased leaf shedding, and reduced flower or seed vitality.

At the same time, too much or too little air humidity will lead to stomatal closure, plant stomata closed, CO2 can not enter the leaf flesh cells, photosynthesis slowed down or even stopped. Moreover, high humidity can also cause water condensation on the leaf surface, causing leaf cells to break down and making the plant soft. There is also a major problem of excessive humidity is that the village directly helps the propagation of pathogens, making the chances of pests and diseases greater.
