The GW8000 is a high-performance industrial-grade outdoor base station gateway based on the LoRaWAN protocol, designed for large-scale IoT deployment. It can connect to standard LoRaWAN terminal nodes and provide secure bidirectional wireless communication services. The main control chip is the high-performance NXP i.MX93 A55 dual-core processor with a maximum frequency of 1.7 GHz, and it is equipped with the Semtech SX1302 chip, offering a flexible architecture of 16 uplink channels/2 downlink channels (or 8 uplink channels/1 downlink channel optional) to support high-density device access.
The gateway is equipped with high-gain LoRa antennas, with a coverage radius of up to 10 kilometers in open environments, meeting the needs of wide-area scenarios such as urban and rural areas. In terms of data transmission, it supports Ethernet, WiFi, or 4G/LTE tri-mode communication, enabling real-time transmission of collected data to the LoRaWAN server for efficient data management and analysis. With an IP67 protection design and a wide temperature operating range, the gateway can operate stably in harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and dust for a long time.
The GW8000 is widely applicable to scenarios such as smart cities, smart agriculture, environmental monitoring, industrial IoT, intelligent security, and remote device monitoring, providing a reliable network foundation for large-scale IoT deployment.
Ø Equipped with the NXP i.MX93 A55 dual-core processor, featuring an NPU neural processing unit.
Ø Utilizes the high-performance 16-channel Semtech SX1302 chip, supporting half-duplex transmission.
Ø Supports standard LoRaWAN protocol versions V1.0.X (V1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4) and V1.1.
ØSupports UDP packet_forwarder protocol, Basics Station CUPS, and LNS protocols.
Ø Offers the option to choose between an embedded NS or an external NS network server.
Ø Compatible with various network servers such as Weichuan IOT, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba LinkWAN, Amazon LPWAN, TTN, ChirpStack, etc.
Ø The embedded NS supports MQTT and HTTP for pushing parsed data, and Ethernet Modbus-TCP for querying node data.
Ø Provides Node-RED visual IoT programming tools.
Ø Supports noise floor scanning to offer reliable channel deployment suggestions.
Ø Supports multiple network access methods, including 4G, Ethernet, WiFi etc.
Ø Features an alloy housing with an IP67 high-protection rating, suitable for various outdoor scenarios.
Ø Includes power failure alarm to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce manual inspection costs.
Ø Equipped with an external industrial-grade hardware watchdog to ensure continuous and stable system operation.
Ø Complies with the B-level lightning protection rating specified in GB50343-2004.
Ø Supports wall mounting or pole mounting installation methods.
