The NiuBoL 8-in-1 Soil Sensor Soil Multi-Parameter Analyzer is a high-precision, multifunctional portable device specifically designed for soil environmental monitoring. It can be connected to the user’s Android or HarmonyOS smartphone (requires compatibility with version 4.3 and below) to measure eight key soil parameters in real time and rapidly:
Soil temperature & Soil moisture (volumetric water content) & Soil EC (electrical conductivity) & Soil salinity &NPK
With its excellent measurement accuracy, good stability, and simple operation, this product has become an ideal tool in the fields of water-fertilizer integration, environmental monitoring, and scientific research.

This analyzer adopts integrated sensor technology to achieve multi-parameter measurement:
Temperature & Moisture: Temperature is typically measured using thermistors or semiconductor chips; moisture is measured using Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) or Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) principles by detecting the soil dielectric constant, thereby calculating the volumetric water content.
EC & Salinity: Measures the electrical conductivity of the soil solution to reflect the total concentration of soluble salt ions. Soil salinity value (mg/L) is closely related to electrical conductivity (μS/cm) and can usually be converted.
Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium (NPK) Content: 【Important Note】 NiuBoL soil NPK sensor essentially measures soil electrical conductivity. The manufacturer obtains an empirical, theoretical value by multiplying the measured conductivity value by coefficients based on nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content in conventional soil. Due to differences in field soil and environment, the NPK values provided by this sensor are for guidance reference only, not precise laboratory measured values.
pH Value: Uses a dedicated pH composite electrode to measure the hydrogen ion concentration in the soil solution via the potential difference method, thereby obtaining the soil acidity/alkalinity.

The analyzer consists of a sensor probe and a data connection module. The sensor probe typically contains multiple metal needles for insertion into the soil for measurement. The data connection module connects to the phone’s charging port via wired connection.

Phone compatibility check: Ensure your smartphone is Android or HarmonyOS version 4.3 or below. Not compatible with Apple iOS or HarmonyOS 5.0 and above.
APP download & installation: Scan the QR code on the product label or user manual to download the APP.
Connect the sensor: Insert the sensor plug into the phone’s charging port.
Enable OTG (if necessary): If there is no response, the phone may have disabled OTG by default. Go to phone “Settings”, search for “OTG” and enable it manually.
Soil measurement: After successful connection, fully insert the sensor probe into the soil for measurement, or choose long-term buried monitoring.
The sensor is a precision instrument. To ensure measurement accuracy and extend service life, please follow these standards:
Avoid corrosion and high heat: Installation location should be away from chemical corrosion environments, high-voltage power sources, and heat sources.
Storage environment: Store the sensor in a dry, ventilated room temperature environment.
Do not disassemble: The sensor is precision equipment; do not disassemble it yourself to avoid irreversible damage.
Probe insertion depth: Ensure the sensor probe is fully inserted into the soil to be measured for valid and accurate data.
Packaging inspection: Before use, check that the packaging is intact and the sensor specifications match the purchased model.
