Snow sensor is an intelligent snow depth sensor that uses ultrasonic remote test technology to monitor the amount of snow to achieve automatic continuous monitoring of snow depth; it calculates the snow depth of the time difference between the time difference of 50kHz ultrasonic measurement from transmitting to the return signal.

Connection method 

(1) If equipped with the collector produced by our company, directly connect the sensor to the corresponding interface on the collector using the sensor cable.

(2) If the sensor is purchased separately, the line sequence of the sensor supporting line is as follows:

Red wire: Power + (DC12V)

Black wire: Power -

Yellow line: 485+

Blue Line: 485-

Ultrasonic Snow Depth Detector Sensor Instructions for use  :                          

1. After the sensor indicates the wiring in accordance with the wiring method and installation instructions, place it at a detection position of 1.3m (± 0.1m) to open the snow -capacity sensor probe protection cap.

2. If you are equipped with the collector produced by the company, connect the system, open the protective cover of the snow sensor probe, in the "other settings" of the collector → "Snow Setting", set the starting work temperature of the snow volume sensor, and set the default settings. The snow volume working temperature is t0 (default is 5 ° C, which can be set by itself). After setting the snow temperature, select "Snow Quantity Detection", switch the "stop" mode to the "start" mode, click the "confirm" button, and click the "confirm" button. The system will automatically detect the benchmark height of the sensor; (note: If the height of the snow volume sensor is adjusted, the benchmark height is required according to the above operation).

When the real -time temperature T> T0, the collector automatically close the display value of the snow sensor. When the real -time temperature T <T0, the collector shows the test value of the snow volume sensor to obtain the snow volume information.
