Recently, NiuboL's self-developed handheld pyranometer has been successfully exported to Peru for use in local solar resource evaluation, meteorological monitoring, and scientific research projects. This export project marks an important step in expanding NiuboL's sensor products into the South American market and provides reliable technical support for environmental monitoring in Latin America.
The handheld pyranometer(Solar radiation sensor) utilizes advanced thermoelectric sensing principles, with its core sensing element being a wire-wound, electroplated multi-junction thermopile, coated with a high absorption black surface. With a dual-layer glass cover design, it offers excellent anti-interference and environmental adaptability. It ensures accurate measurement across the 0.3-3μm spectral range. The product boasts the following outstanding features:
- High Sensitivity: 7 to 14μV/W·m⁻², with the output signal directly proportional to solar irradiance.
- Wide Measurement Range: 0 to 2000W/m², suitable for total radiation, reflected radiation, scattered radiation, infrared, ultraviolet, and visible light radiation, among others.
- Excellent Environmental Adaptability: Operating temperature range from -40℃ to +50℃, with annual stability ≤ ±2%.
- Easy Operation: Equipped with a large LCD display with a Chinese or English menu, one-touch button operation for convenience.
- Smart Features: Built-in GPS positioning with an accuracy of less than 5 meters; automatic sensor type recognition; data storage capacity of up to 20,000 entries, with the ability to export data to a computer via USB, facilitating quick on-site measurements and subsequent data analysis.
- Multi-Use: Users can flexibly connect various environmental sensors, making the device adaptable for multiple uses.
This sensor has a wide range of applications, including solar energy utilization, meteorological monitoring, agricultural research, building material aging studies, and atmospheric pollution monitoring. The Peruvian client will use the sensor for precise measurements of total radiation, reflected radiation, and scattered radiation, providing reliable data support for local renewable energy development and environmental scientific research.
The handheld design, combined with a portable carrying case, makes it easy for users to quickly deploy and measure in the field. The instrument supports interfaces for multiple agricultural environment sensors and can be expanded in functionality with additional sensors in the future, meeting diverse measurement needs.
