It is specially designed for industrial wastewater, electroplating processes, environmental monitoring and heavy metal treatment scenarios, providing high-stability, high-precision and low-maintenance real-time online copper ion measurement solutions to help system integrators and engineering contractors accurately control heavy metal emissions and process control.
Excessive copper ion concentration in industrial wastewater, electroplating solutions and environmental water bodies can easily lead to environmental penalties, equipment corrosion and product quality issues. NiuBoL NBL-WQ-CU-4 online copper ion sensor is a professional crystal membrane ion selective electrode monitoring device launched by NiuBoL, specially used for fast and accurate online detection of copper ion content in water.
The product is divided into two versions: NBL-WQ-CU-4A (POM+ABS economic type) and NBL-WQ-CU-4S (POM+316L corrosion-resistant type), adapting to different corrosive media requirements. IP68 high protection rating combined with 3/4 NPT pipe thread installation method makes it widely suitable for submersible, pipeline and tank installation scenarios. Built-in automatic temperature compensation function effectively reduces the impact of temperature changes on measurement results, meeting the stringent requirements for heavy metal monitoring in industrial sites.
1. Patented Crystal Membrane Copper Ion Electrode
Adopts patented copper ion selective electrode. The internal reference solution seeps out extremely slowly through the microporous salt bridge under ≥100KPa pressure, building a highly stable reference system. Electrode life is far longer than ordinary industrial electrodes, effectively reducing replacement frequency and long-term operation & maintenance costs.
2. High Precision Measurement Performance
Provides two range options: 0~100 mg/L and 0~1000 mg/L. Resolution 0.01 mg/L (low range), accuracy ±10% of reading or ±1 mg/L, temperature accuracy ±0.5℃, response time T90<60s, suitable for low concentration environmental monitoring and high concentration wastewater treatment.
3. Industrial-grade Protection Design
IP68 protection rating supports long-term immersion use. 4A type is suitable for conventional environments, 4S type adopts 316L stainless steel shell, more suitable for acid-base or highly corrosive media. The product has undergone 72-hour aging and stability testing before delivery to ensure reliability.

Installation Notes: The sensor must not be installed upside down or horizontally. It should be installed at least tilted more than 15° to ensure normal seepage of reference solution and stable electrode operation.

Q1. What are the two models of the NBL-WQ-CU-4 series? How to choose?
Divided into 4A type (POM+ABS) and 4S type (POM+316L). 4A type is recommended for conventional wastewater, 4S type is recommended for highly corrosive media.
Q2. What output methods does the sensor support?
Standard RS-485 Modbus RTU protocol, supports optional 4-20mA current output, easy to connect to various industrial control systems.
Q3. What is the service life of the copper ion electrode?
Adopts patented reference solution slow seepage design with stable reference system. Electrode life is significantly longer than ordinary industrial electrodes, depending on medium conditions and maintenance.
Q4. What is the calibration method and precautions?
Adopts two-point calibration (zero + slope). Factory calibrated. It is not recommended to calibrate frequently unless necessary. Allow 5 minutes standing for stability for both zero and slope solutions during calibration.
Q5. What are the installation angle requirements?
Must be installed at an angle greater than 15°. Must not be installed upside down or horizontally. This is the key to ensuring normal operation of the reference system.
Q6. How to activate and maintain the electrode daily?
Soak new electrode in tap water for 24 hours for activation before first use; clean with distilled or deionized water and dry daily; store dry and with protection bottle for long-term storage.
Q7. What is the working pH and temperature range of the sensor?
Recommended working temperature 0~40℃, pH value 4~10. Best measurement performance is obtained within this range.
Q8. What is the product warranty policy?
One year warranty for the whole machine from the date of sale. The electrode, as a consumable, has a six-month warranty. Failures caused by improper use or human damage are not covered.
