Recently, NiuBoL successfully delivered its NBL-W-LM Leaf Temperature and Humidity Sensor(Leaf Wetness Sensor) and NBL-W-PARS Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) Sensor to South Korea. The products will be used in local agricultural meteorological monitoring and crop growth research projects, marking another step forward for NiuBoL in expanding its presence in the Northeast Asian market.

South Korea has a highly intensive agricultural system, with widespread use of greenhouse cultivation, precision farming, and data-driven crop management. In recent years, the country has continued to promote smart agriculture and digital farming technologies, placing strong emphasis on accurate environmental monitoring, long-term stability, and system compatibility.
For applications such as crop growth analysis, irrigation optimization, and disease prevention, Korean agricultural institutions and solution providers require sensors that can operate reliably under harsh outdoor conditions while delivering consistent and precise data.

The NBL-W-LM Leaf Temperature and Humidity Sensor is specifically designed to monitor the microclimate on the surface of plant leaves. Its leaf-shaped design closely simulates real foliage, allowing it to reflect actual leaf surface conditions more accurately.
Temperature range: -40 to 80°C
Temperature accuracy: ±0.5°C
Humidity range: 0–100% RH
Humidity accuracy: ±5% RH
Operating environment: -40 to 85°C
Power supply: DC 12–24V
Output signal: RS485
Protection class: IP65
By detecting changes in the dielectric constant on the leaf surface, the sensor can identify micro-level moisture or ice crystal residue. Combined with temperature measurement, it can distinguish between surface water and frost. This capability makes it an effective tool for disease prevention, frost warning, irrigation control, and crop protection, especially in precision agriculture applications.

The NBL-W-PARS PAR Sensor is designed to measure photosynthetically active radiation in the 400–700 nm wavelength range, which directly affects plant photosynthesis and growth.
Spectral range: 400–700 nm
Measurement range: 0–2000 W/m²
Power supply: DC 12–24V
Output signal: RS485
Cosine correction: up to 80° incident angle
Working temperature: -40 to 65°C
Relative humidity: 0–100% RH
The sensor uses a silicon photodetector combined with a precision optical filter to ensure stable and accurate measurements under all weather conditions. Its cosine response characteristic allows it to measure incident radiation more accurately throughout the day, making it suitable for agricultural meteorology stations, greenhouse monitoring systems, and crop growth research projects.

The successful export of the NBL-W-LM and NBL-W-PARS sensors to South Korea demonstrates NiuBoL’s ability to meet the requirements of high-standard international markets. These products provide reliable data support for crop growth analysis, environmental monitoring, and precision agriculture decision-making.
NiuBoL will continue to focus on sensor technology for agriculture and environmental monitoring, delivering stable, practical, and scalable solutions to customers worldwide.
