Enhancing Solar Power Efficiency and Environmental Monitoring in the Indian Ocean Region
Changsha, China — October 2025
NiuBoL has successfully delivered a batch of Solar Panel Soiling Sensors and 5-in-1 Ultrasonic Weather Sensors to a renewable energy project in Mauritius, marking another milestone in our global expansion across the Indian Ocean region.

The Solar Panel Soiling Sensor uses blue-light contamination closed-loop measurement technology to continuously monitor dust accumulation on PV module glass surfaces. By accurately calculating sunlight loss due to pollution, the system allows operators to quantify power loss in real time and determine the optimal cleaning time, improving both efficiency and cost-effectiveness of photovoltaic power plants. The device can be easily installed on both new and existing PV arrays, seamlessly integrated into plant management systems without any maintenance — only occasional cleaning along with the panels.

Meanwhile, the 5-in-1 Ultrasonic Weather Sensor provides precise, digital measurement of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. Its compact, lightweight, and rugged design ensures reliable operation under extreme weather conditions, making it ideal for solar farms, environmental monitoring stations, and smart agriculture projects. The combination of meteorological and pollution data allows operators to correlate environmental conditions with PV system performance, supporting more intelligent energy management.
Both devices support RS485 output with standard MODBUS protocol, ensuring smooth integration with IoT platforms, SCADA systems, and remote monitoring networks.
This export to Mauritius further demonstrates NiuBoL’s capability to deliver high-performance IoT sensing solutions for renewable energy and environmental monitoring markets worldwide. Mauritius, as a fast-growing hub for green energy in Africa and the Indian Ocean, represents a key step in NiuBoL’s global market development strategy.
Looking ahead, NiuBoL will continue to strengthen cooperation with international partners, providing reliable, intelligent, and data-driven monitoring solutions to accelerate the global transition toward sustainable energy.
