This page explains the types of customizations we can provide, how to communicate requirements, development timelines, and technical deliverables, lowering the barriers to integration and secondary development.

Q1: What types of customization do you accept?  

A: We accept hardware customizations (range, accuracy, housing, connectors), communication options (Modbus/RS485, 4–20 mA, LoRa, 4G), firmware/protocol modifications (data formats, reporting frequency, encryption), and full system-level integrations (e.g., incorporating solar power, data loggers, cloud-based alarms, and custom dashboards). 


Q2: What is the customization process?  

A: The typical process is: requirements confirmation → technical evaluation and quotation → prototype/sample development → sample testing → bulk confirmation → mass production and shipment. Each step includes clear deliverables and acceptance criteria. 


Q3: How long does customization take, and how are costs calculated?  

A: Simple parameter changes (e.g., cable length or enclosure color) are often completed in 7–15 working days; customizations involving hardware/firmware modifications (e.g., adding a LoRa module or altering sampling algorithms) typically take 2–6 weeks. Costs are calculated based on development hours, material differences, and sample expenses, with a quote provided after requirements confirmation. 


Q4: Do you support OEM/ODM, such as printing our brand on the product?  

A: Yes. Minimum OEM quantities depend on material and mold costs; we offer branding printing/labeling services and clearly define quality and after-sales responsibilities in the contract. 


Q5: If I need to integrate the sensor into a PLC / SCADA / LoRaWAN network, how do you support it?  

A: We provide communication protocol documentation, sample code (e.g., Modbus), and wiring diagrams. For on-site or remote technical support, our engineers will assist with integration and debugging until the system runs stably. 


Q6: Will customization affect certifications?  

A: Certain customizations (especially adding wireless modules or changing power designs) may impact FCC/CE/EMC certifications. We will inform you during the technical evaluation if re-testing is needed and estimate the time and costs.

 

Q7: How do you ensure interchangeability and maintenance after customization?  

A: We provide interface definitions, BOM, firmware manuals, and test cases in the delivery documentation, along with reserved part codes to ensure availability for future maintenance and replacements.

 

Q8: Can you provide reference designs or schematics for customer review?  

A: Depending on confidentiality and collaboration terms, we can provide necessary interface schematics, communication flowcharts, and sample software interface documents to help customers with system integration reviews.

 

Q9: If I don't have a full technical team, can you provide "turnkey" integration?  

A: Yes. We can deliver complete solutions from hardware and transmission to cloud and front-end displays (including deployment and training), quoted per project and formalized in a project delivery contract.

 

Q10: How should I communicate customization requirements to improve efficiency?  

A: We recommend providing: project background, usage scenarios, expected technical specs (e.g., accuracy, sampling frequency), communication methods, environmental requirements (temperature, humidity, exposure/buried), planned quantities, and delivery timelines. Based on this, we'll deliver a technical proposal and preliminary quote.

 

Q11: Does customization support technical confidentiality or NDAs?  

A: Yes. For customizations involving core customer algorithms, project secrets, or unique designs, we can sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) to protect both parties' interests.

 

Q12: Can you develop multiple customization variants in parallel (e.g., prototype A with LoRa, B with 4G)?  

A: Yes, but it increases management complexity and costs. We recommend finalizing the communication scheme during the sample stage, then validating variants in small batches to save time and costs.
