Specially developed for industrial process control, environmental water quality monitoring and chemical reaction processes, it provides long-term stable and highly anti-interference real-time ORP measurement solutions to help system integrators and engineering contractors achieve reliable oxidation-reduction potential monitoring.
In sewage treatment, chemical synthesis, acid-base neutralization and industrial circulating water systems, ORP value fluctuations often lead to reaction loss of control, low treatment efficiency or equipment corrosion risks. NiuBoL NBL-WQ-ORP online ORP sensor effectively solves problems of traditional electrodes such as short lifespan, easy drift, weak anti-interference ability and complex integration through patented reference electrode system and industrial-grade design, ensuring long-term high-precision operation.

NiuBoL NBL-WQ-ORP online ORP sensor is a universal oxidation-reduction potential monitoring device developed by NiuBoL for industrial sites. It adopts platinum electrode measurement principle and is suitable for online monitoring of environmental water quality, acid-base salt solutions and various chemical reaction processes.
The product offers two material versions: NBL-WQ-ORP-4A (POM+ABS) and NBL-WQ-ORP-4S (POM+316L), meeting different corrosive environment requirements. IP68 high protection rating combined with 3/4 NPT pipe thread installation method makes it suitable for both submersible installation and pipeline/tank integration. The built-in high-stability circuit design ensures reliable and continuous ORP data support in complex industrial environments.
1. Patented Electrode System
Adopts patented ORP electrode. Internal reference solution seeps out extremely slowly through the microporous salt bridge under at least 100KPa pressure. Positive seepage time exceeds 20 months, greatly improving reference system stability and making electrode life far longer than ordinary industrial electrodes.
2. Circuit Anti-interference Design
Built-in dual high-impedance differential amplifier effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference in industrial sites. Signal transmission is stable with fast response (T90<30s), especially suitable for industrial occasions with frequency converters or strong electromagnetic environments.
3. Rugged Protection and Material Selection
IP68 protection rating allows long-term immersion. Two housing materials available: 4A type uses POM+ABS (economical and practical); 4S type uses POM+316L stainless steel (suitable for higher corrosive media). M16-5 core waterproof connector ensures reliable electrical connection.
4. Convenient Installation and Integration
3/4 NPT standard pipe thread for easy installation. Open Modbus RTU protocol allows system integrators to quickly connect to various control platforms, significantly shortening project implementation cycle.

Sewage treatment and environmental monitoring: Real-time monitoring of ORP values in aeration tanks, anaerobic tanks and effluent to optimize biochemical treatment processes.
Chemical and pharmaceutical process control: Used for oxidation-reduction reaction process monitoring to ensure stable reaction conditions and improve product yield and safety.
Industrial circulating cooling water systems: Monitor oxidation-reduction potential of cooling water to prevent corrosion and scaling, guiding chemical dosing control.
Electroplating and surface treatment: Precisely control ORP value of plating solution to ensure stable electroplating quality.
Acid-base neutralization and waste liquid treatment: As an oxidation-reduction indicator parameter to assist automatic dosing systems for precise control.
Installation Notes: The sensor must not be installed upside down or horizontally. It should be installed at least tilted more than 15° to ensure normal seepage of reference solution.

Q1. How many models does the NBL-WQ-ORP series have? What is the difference?
Divided into 4A (POM+ABS) and 4S (POM+316L). The 4S type stainless steel material is more suitable for highly corrosive media.
Q2. What output methods does the sensor support?
Supports RS-485 (Modbus RTU protocol) and 4-20mA current output, convenient for access to different control systems.
Q3. How long is the service life of the ORP electrode?
Adopts patented reference system with positive seepage lasting more than 20 months. Actual service life is far longer than ordinary industrial electrodes, depending on medium conditions.
Q4. How to perform on-site calibration?
Adopts one-point calibration method. Place the sensor in 86mV, 256mV or -40mV standard solution and calibrate through upper computer or controller after stabilization.
Q5. What are the installation angle requirements?
Must be installed at an angle greater than 15°. Must not be installed upside down or horizontally to ensure normal operation of reference solution.
Q6. How to maintain the electrode daily?
Rinse with distilled water and dry after measurement. Soak in 3mol/L potassium chloride solution when not in use. Avoid long-term placement in distilled water or protein solutions.
Q7. Can it be used in seawater or high-salinity environments?
IP68 protection supports long-term immersion. For seawater and other high-salinity environments, 4S type is recommended and waterproofing of connectors should be strengthened.
Q8. What is the product warranty period?
One year warranty from the date of sale. Failures caused by improper use or human damage are not covered.
