RS485 Sensor Device Address Change

I. Prepare tools and materials

RS-485 to USB adapter: You will need an RS-485 to USB adapter in order to convert the communication line interface of the RS-485 device to a USB interface so that it can be plugged into the USB port of your computer.

Change the sensor device address: if you change 1 to 2

[1] Write device address： 2

Send: 00 10 Adress CRC16

Return: 00 10 CRC16

Example:

Send: 00 10 02 BD C0

Return: 00 10 00 7C

[2] Read device address

Send: 00 20 CRC16 

Return: 00 20 Adress CRC16

Example:

Send: 00 20 00 68

Return: 00 20 02 A9 C0

At this point the device address has been changed to 02
