Agricultural IoT architecture.

The agricultural IoT architecture can be divided into three layers: the sensing layer, the transmission layer and the application layer.

Perception layer: 

Various sensors, such as temperature and humidity sensors, light sensors, carbon dioxide sensors, wind sensors, wind speed sensors, rain sensors, soil temperature and humidity sensors, etc., are used to obtain various types of information about plants. The sensing layer is the source of the IoT to identify objects and collect information.

Transmission layer:

 It is composed of various networks, including the Internet, broadband network, network management system and cloud computing platform, etc. It is the hub of the whole IoT and is responsible for transmitting and processing the information obtained from the perception layer.

Application layer: 

the interface between the IoT and the user, which is combined with industry requirements to realise intelligent applications of the IoT. Real-time plant growth environment information is obtained according to the WSN. Such as temperature and humidity, light parameters, etc., collect data from each node, store and manage to achieve dynamic display of information of the whole test site, and control automatic irrigation, fertilisation, spraying, cooling and light replenishment according to various types of information. Automatic alarming of abnormal information. The addition of cameras allows for real-time monitoring of each shed and the whole park.
