The advantage of an integrated meteorological sensor is not that “the more parameters, the more advanced”, but that it reduces the number of installations, cables and maintenance points. Choose between 5-in-1s and 10-in-1s, starting with which meteorological variables are needed to backtrack from the business objectives.
Wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity and air pressure make up the common five factors. Adding rainfall can form six elements; adding illumination or solar radiation can form seven elements. Further PM2.5, PM10, noise, gas, etc. can be added to form environmental monitoring multi-parameter equipment.
All-in-one devices usually have only one RS485 output, and multiple parameters are read in different registers. The advantage is that the wiring and installation are simple; if a parameter channel is abnormal, the original register needs to be read first when troubleshooting, and the whole machine failure cannot be judged only by "one element has no data" on the platform.

A2: No. The illuminance unit is usually Lux, which faces the visual response of the human eye; solar radiation is usually represented by W/m² for energy flux.
Q3: Can all-in-one completely replace high-precision independent instruments?
A3: Not necessarily. Integrated equipment places more emphasis on volume, installation and integrated monitoring, and high-grade scientific research or metrology projects may still require independent high-precision sensors.
