If adjustment is needed, gently reposition the white south fixing marking point on the sensor housing until the south pointing point on the compass is exactly the same as the white south fixing marking point on the sensor housing.

 4. Turn on the power

Depending on the model of the sensor, it may need to be powered on or powered only by the battery. If the sensor is powered on, ensure that the power supply is stable and that appropriate lightning protection is in place.

 5. Test the wind direction sensor

After switching on the power supply, carry out a test to confirm that the wind direction sensor works properly and gives accurate readings.

 Lightning protection: Consider lightning protection measures during installation to avoid lightning damage to the equipment.
