FAQ – Applications & Use Cases

Q1: What industries are your sensors suitable for?

A: Smart agriculture, greenhouse automation, photovoltaic power station monitoring, environmental and meteorological monitoring, animal husbandry, forest fire prevention, hydrological monitoring, etc.

Q2: Who are your typical customers?

A:

- IoT integrators for smart agriculture

- Agricultural irrigation system integrators

- Greenhouse solution integrators

- Photovoltaic power station system solution integrators

- Meteorological and hydrological bureaus

Q3: How many sensors are needed for 1 acre of land?

A: If the terrain is flat and the environment is consistent, one sensor for each parameter is enough. For complex terrain, it is recommended to install multiple sensors.

Q4: What is the role of soil sensors under climate change?

A: The sensors monitor soil and climate changes, helping to develop more accurate planting and irrigation plans.

Q5: Can small farmers use your equipment?

A: Yes, small farmers can choose handheld devices, while larger farms and greenhouses are more suited for a complete IoT system.

Q6: What is the ideal soil moisture level for soil sensors?

A: Soil moisture should be above 50% to ensure accurate measurements.

Q7: What is the coverage range of a weather station?

A: The coverage range of a weather station is typically based on the representativeness of the installation environment, generally reflecting meteorological conditions within a radius of tens of meters to a few kilometers.

Q8: Can sensors be used in both soil and water?

A: Some sensors (such as soil temperature and humidity and EC sensors) can be briefly immersed in water, but data accuracy may be affected, so long-term immersion is not recommended.

Q9: Are these sensors compatible with devices from other brands?

A: As long as the other devices support the same interface (e.g., RS485) and protocol (e.g., Modbus RTU), they can be used together.

Q10: Can the sensors be used in extreme climate areas?

A: Yes, most of our sensors are rated IP65–IP68, making them resistant to high and low temperatures, rain, snow, and high humidity, allowing them to be used in extreme climates for extended periods.
