This Type-C Soil Sensor does not directly measure nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content through chemical methods.
The device first measures the soil's electrical conductivity (EC), then converts it to corresponding NPK estimated values based on the empirical relationship between N, P, K and EC in conventional soils using built-in algorithm models.

It should be noted that due to significant differences in soil structure, organic matter content, and fertilization history across different regions, the results are empirical and theoretical reference values and cannot be fully equated to laboratory chemical analysis data.
This soil pH sensor adopts the electrode method principle.
When the probe is inserted into the soil, the zinc electrode reacts with hydrogen ions in the soil, generating a potential difference related to the hydrogen ion concentration. The soil acidity and alkalinity (pH value) is calculated by measuring this potential difference.
This method is suitable for:

Basic reference before irrigation and fertilization
In complex or high-precision requirement scenarios, if higher precision pH values are needed, glass electrode pH sensors are generally recommended.
