Agrometeorological stations are not fixed seven-parameter packages. Temperature, humidity, wind, rain, radiation, and soil moisture each serve different management decisions, and the configuration should be determined by the crops, plots, and application goals.
An agrometeorological station is an automated environmental monitoring system for farmland, orchard, greenhouse and irrigation management, typically consisting of meteorological sensors, data collectors, communication modules, power supply systems and installation structures. It continuously records temperature, humidity, wind, rainfall, solar radiation and other data, and can increase soil moisture, EC, PAR and other parameters according to crops and management goals.
Air temperature and humidity are used for judging frost, heat damage and disease environments; wind speed and direction affect evapotranspiration, spraying and facility safety; rainfall is used for irrigation balancing; solar radiation or PAR reflects light energy conditions; atmospheric pressure can be used for complete meteorological records.
When irrigation management is required, soil moisture and temperature should be added as separate layers. The water and fertilizer integration project can also increase EC; consider pH or multi-parameter soil probes when rapid soil status reference is required.
The agrometeorological station should be placed in a position representative of the microclimate of the crop area, avoiding the influence of buildings, tree canopies, exhaust vents and local irrigation sprinklers. A3: It can be used as part of the same monitoring system, but it measures local soil and should be distributed according to the root zone and irrigation zoning.
Q4: Can I still use it without the cloud platform?
A4: Yes. Data can be stored in a collector or read from a computer; whether the cloud is required depends on remote access, alarms, and multi-site management needs.
